How the Share Standard is calculated

To receive the full benefits of the patronage reward, shareholder-suppliers will need to be ‘fully shared’ to the share standard based on the supplier’s livestock as follows:

Dividends & Rewards

Returns are regularly distributed through dividends to all shareholders (both ordinary and rebate) and patronage rewards only to shareholders who also supply livestock to Silver Fern Farms Ltd.

Dividend Pool

  • Available to all ordinary and rebate shareholders
  • Return paid per share owned across all ordinary and rebate shares
  • Silver Fern Farms Co-operative Ltd (SFF) shares are traded on the Unlisted Exchange - usx.co.nz

Patronage Reward Pool

  • Exclusive to co-operative shareholders supplying livestock (minimum 400 SU annually) direct via our livestock reps
  • Return paid per share owned across qualifying ordinary and rebate shares up to the share standard
